Yassaman Najmabadi
Clinical Research Associate, USA
While completing her undergraduate degree, Yassaman worked as the manager of a Sears portrait studio in Canada where she hired and trained professional photographers. Her first job after college was as a research coordinator, which she found both fascinating and challenging, and her career path has followed a logical progression within the field of research since this time.
Before starting at Corin she was Study Manager at a site management organisation in Canada and USA, conducting pharmaceutical, cosmetic and personal care studies for products including sunscreen and anti-ageing creams. She came to Corin as the job represented a new arena in clinical trials, offering new challenges with new opportunities.
Yassaman comments: “My science degree has been valuable, although conducting clinical trials is very much a hands-on experience that you cannot find in any training manual or courses. What I also really like about Corin, and not wanting to sound clichéd, but we have a group of very intelligent and competent people in the clinical and regulatory teams who I really enjoy working alongside. I enjoy the training and travelling to the different investigative sites that my job offers, as well as working with the surgeons and their research co-ordinators, ultimately promoting Corin’s products”.
Yassaman is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in clinical investigation.
