Anterior Cervical Plating System
Cervive is an anterior cervical plating system that has been engineered to provide flexibility and simplicity for the spinal surgeon, allowing replication of normal anatomical function and safe fixation of the plate. Cervive includes numerous features that meet the needs of the spinal surgeon in providing safe, effective anterior cervical spine fixation:
- Cervive’s low profile anatomical plate design has been engineered to replicate normal anatomical function.
- 8° cranial screw angle matches anatomical angulation and optimises screw fixation.
- Snap-fit screw design prevents the screws from backing out for superior fixation.
- Inner screw double locks the outer locking screw into position following final positioning, further preventing the locking screw from backing out of the plate.
- Mono-cortical screw fixation limits the need for peri-operative X-ray control.
- Simple instrumentation ensures accurate screw placement.
- 2mm plate thickness in the central section gives a low profile, allows easy contouring to match patient anatomy and minimises stress shielding.
- Titanium construction is CT and MRI compatible.
- A wide range of plate lengths allows a suitable plate to be chosen to match individual cervical anatomy.
- Low profile design minimises pressure on the oesophagus.
