Trinity 2
Polyaxial Pedicular Screw System
The Trinity polyaxial screw system has been designed to offer quality performance and ease of use for the orthopaedic surgeon. Trinity 2 provides enhancements to the original Trinity system, giving increased flexibility and ease of use for the spinal surgeon:
- 360° head rotation and 30° range of screw angulation ease rod placement and minimise rod contouring.
- Standard range includes three screw diameters – 5.5, 6.5 and 7.5mm.
- Colour coded screw assembly bodies for easy size identification.
- 5.5mm titanium rod for optimum stability and adaptability.
- Benign external form for minimal impingement at bone/tissue interface.
- Locking cap assembly incorporates a captive but rotatable collar that clamps the rod, permitting optimum stress distribution throughout the screw/rod interface; a grub screw is provided to complete the three-point locking system.
- Asymmetric thread form ensures easy screw insertion and high pull-out resistance.
- A captive ‘boat’ transmits the clamping forces from the cap/collar through to both the rod and screw interfaces, offering high resistance against the clinical loads encountered in-vivo.
- Easy-to-use, optimised instrumentation supports minimum surgical exposure.
- Positive direct-drive screw introduction for surgeon confidence at critical operative stage.
- Quick and easy cap introduction method.
