MRP-Titan®

Modular Revision Prosthesis

The MRP-MRP-TitanTitan® modular revision prosthesis offers the following features and benefits:

  • Fixation with rotational and shear stability due to optimised implant geometry.
  • Free choice of anteversion when attaching the neck.
  • Significantly reduced instrumentation yet allowing accurate placement of the modular parts.
  • The modular nature of the design allows implant placement changes to be made intra-operatively in-situ.
  • Star-shaped design and the conical form of the stem enable a secure, rotational stability in the femur and a reduced risk of subsidence; cancellous bone can be largely retained and, as a result, improves the vascular supply to the femur with proximal regeneration.
  • Titanium alloy construction offers high stability and excellent biocompatibility.
  • Prosthesis stems are offered in several lengths and a variety of diameters; long stem available in a straight or curved version. Distal locking is possible starting from an implant length of 310mm.
  • Three different forged necks with a CCD angle of 130°, optionally with or without the trochanter fin, and one high-offset neck with CCD angle of 123° and an offset of 10mm are available (in the case of proximal major bone defects, it is also possible to add a trochanter replacement module which can be freely set).
