Total Cementless Hip System

The only fully cementless, high performance bearing system with 20 years’ expertise, Corin continues to advance the field in cementless technologies with this total system approach for the active patient.
In 2004 we became the first company to introduce a fully cementless resurfacing option, potentially reducing the risk of bone necrosis(1). The Cormet acetabular cup is Bi-coated with a plasma-sprayed porous titanium coating overlaid with hydroxyapatite, which provides optimised fixation. With expertise in metal-on-metal technology developed over two decades, Corin’s Total Cementless Hip System offers surgeons a high performance bearing with optimised wear characteristics. The increased range of motion allows patients to enjoy a more ‘natural feel’ hip replacement, enabling them to return to a more active lifestyle following surgery(2).
- Cormet
An advanced hip resurfacing system, Corin’s expertise in metallurgy provides a high performance bearing with optimised wear characteristics. Initial fixation is provided by anti-rotational splines and equatorial expansion enhanced by porous Bi-coat.
- MetaFix
A world class stem design based on principles proven over 20 years, this cementless total hip replacement utilises hydroxyapatite fixation with low profile geometry.
- Optimom
Large diameter metal-on-metal bearing surface with dedicated offsets offers increased stability over conventional articulations.
