Whilst improved healthcare is allowing people to live longer, they are also becoming heavier. Can conventional stems withstand today's higher demands? Do they allow sufficient bone conservation for later operations? With didactic lectures and dry bone workshops, this two-day course provides an opportunity to discuss and debate some of the key issues facing modern day total hip replacement.
