Information for the Healthcare professional

Corin is committed to providing healthcare professionals around the world with innovative treatment solutions to offer their patients with the best possible lifestyle.

Not only is today’s patient more active, and therefore more demanding of their implant, but they require to be better informed about possible treatments for their own conditions. At Corin, patient education is an integral part of a service programme designed not just for the healthcare professional, but also for the wider community. Dedicated patient websites, patient information booklets and videos help our patients to understand more fully the treatment options available, and make your consultations with those patients easier.

Our Surgeon Education Programme includes high quality in-house training facilities, and an internationally-renowned series of surgeon meetings, which have been attended by more than 2,000 surgeons from around the world in the last five years. The “Considerations in Arthroplasty” meetings, sponsored by the Corin Institute for Orthopaedic Education, will continue in 2008.

This site provides information about the latest techniques and products for healthcare professionals in the orthopaedic sector, as well as details of surgeon meetings, training courses and educational material available from the company.

The Young Arthritic Hip

Now in its second year, this event continues an acclaimed series of international surgeon meetings and courses sponsored by the Corin Institute for Orthopaedic Education. To be held this year at the Grand Hotel Plaza in Rome, one of the city’s oldest and most prestigious hotels, it will explore new techniques, developments and the latest research in hip surgery. An outstanding scientific programme has again been convened by Richard Villar and is led by a distinguished invited international faculty. For more information, go to: www.youngarthritichip.com.
