Dr. Douglas Dennis is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee arthroplasty. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Ohio State University and Joint Arthroplasty Fellowship with Mack L. Clayton, MD in Denver. He is currently a Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Denver and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He has a keen interest in hip and knee arthroplasty research which has generated numerous publications in the orthopedic literature. He is the past president of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and Knee Society, a member of the Hip Society, and serves as Executive Director of Operation Walk Denver, an organization committed to performing free joint replacement in developing countries for those patients without access to medical care.
