Dr Michael Solomon

Dr Michael Solomon is an orthopaedic surgeon specialising in primary and revision hip and knee replacements. He has a special interest in direct anterior hip replacement surgery, hip resurfacing, peri-acetabular osteotomies and other complex hip surgeries.
Internationally recognised as a leader in his field, Dr Solomon performs in excess of 850 joint replacements annually. He is a co-author of numerous publications and presentations, lectures in Australia and internationally, partakes in research and is enthusiastically involved in multiple training and voluntary orthopaedic services.
Dr Solomon utilizes OPSInsight™, a dynamic patient-specific planning platform for his total hip arthroplasties and executes them with the help of the PURIST table.
Dr Michael Solomon uses the OMNIBotics® system, including the BalanceBot™ with the APEX Knee™. During a visit, Dr. Solomon can take you through an OMNIBotics® case using the Predictive Balance™ technology and discuss his learning curve and the reasons he uses OMNIBotics®. Michael also has a keen interest in kinematic alignment.
