St Elisabeth’s Hospital Zottegem is a regional hospital with more than 300 beds, 11,000 admissions and 750 employees including more than 80 physicians. Dr. Kristof Declercq
Dr. Declercq is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who completed his education mainly in Antwerp (Dr. Marc Martens). He then went on to complete fellowships at Dr. Merill Ritter in Moorseville, Indiana and at Dr. Rick Bassett, Harlingen, Texas. He has been in practice since 1996, specialising predominantly in total hip and knee arthroplasty. He uses the advanced Unity Knee™ through a sub-vastus approach for his total knee replacement patients. He utilizes the TriFit TS™ and Trinity™ uncemented solutions for total hip arthroplasty and practices the direct anterior approach without the need for a specialist traction table. Surgeons can visit for either hip or knee or both during one visit.
