Manufacturing Engineering Manager US

"I'm Keith Humphries, and I've spent over 10 years at Corin, starting out as a Production Engineer and growing into my current role as Manufacturing Engineering Manager. This company has backed my development at every stage, and that investment in people is a big part of why I've stayed.

Right now, I'm on a temporary relocation to our US headquarters in Raynham, where I lead the team responsible for the global manufacture and assembly of our robotic orthopaedic systems. The role also carries overall responsibility for the upkeep and day-to-day maintenance of the Raynham facility. It's the kind of opportunity that reflects what this company is about: giving people room to grow and giving them a team to grow with."

UK Supply Chain Lead

I’ve been part of the Corin family for just over 20 years, starting out in manufacturing after a quick phone call from the then Manufacturing Manager asking me to start as soon as possible. Those early experiences gave me a great understanding of our products, processes and, most importantly, the people who make everything happen.

After discovering an interest in planning, I interviewed for a position in Production Control three times before finally being successful! I worked in planning for around 10 years before progressing to become Production Planning Manager, and was then given the amazing opportunity and promotion to my current role as UK Supply Chain Lead.

I’ve really enjoyed the challenge of my current role and the opportunity to work with an expanded Supply Chain team. Looking back over my time at Corin, I’m incredibly proud to have been part of so many challenges, successes and changes over the years. Some of the best opportunities can come from stepping outside your comfort zone and being willing to try something new.

R&D Manager – Knees

I have worked at Corin since 2018, starting out as a design engineer in the R&D knee team. Since then, I have developed into the lead bioengineer role and now I am team lead for the UK R&D knee team. I manage small team of design engineers, base business engineers and a project manager to develop new knee arthroplasty implant and instrument products, and to maintain our existing knee product lines.

New product introduction involves developing a product from concept to full market launch, with the R&D team taking on all aspects of design, prototyping and testing, and working with surgeons to ensure we create products that meet our users’ and patients’ needs. We also collaborate closely with manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, and all other teams involved in getting a new product to market. Seeing the products I have been part of the development for being used to improve patients’ quality of life is very rewarding, it makes the work we do feel very tangible with a real-world impact.

Corin is a great company to be part of, especially now we are in very exciting time of growth, and whilst the work can be challenging its also very rewarding.

Head of Manufacturing

I have been Head of Manufacturing at Corin for the past four years, with 18 years’ experience in management roles within the highly regulated medical industry. 

I am responsible for the manufacture of Corin’s orthopaedic implants and instruments, with a strong focus on quality, operational performance, people development and continuous improvement. I have a real passion for Lean Manufacturing and using it to improve processes, develop capability and create high-performing teams. 

What I enjoy most at Corin is working with people, helping them develop and seeing teams come together to achieve challenging targets and goals. I believe people perform at their best when they are given the freedom, trust and support to make decisions, challenge existing ways of working and drive positive change. Creating an environment where people feel listened to, valued and empowered is important to me, helping build a workplace where people want to stay, develop and succeed. 

I am motivated by challenge and by finding new and better ways of working. My focus is on continually improving manufacturing capability, developing our people and creating a strong culture where quality, performance and continuous improvement are part of how we work every day. 

My advice to anyone wanting to work at Corin:

Recruitment Business Partner – Operations 

I joined Corin in March 2026 as part of the HR Recruitment Team and it quickly became clear that it was the right move for me. I've always enjoyed helping people find the right opportunities, so being able to do that while supporting a business that positively impacts people's lives makes my role even more rewarding. 

One of the things I enjoy most is working closely with both stakeholders and candidates, building strong relationships and helping great people find opportunities where they can thrive. 

I've experienced the opportunities at Corin first-hand, having joined on a fixed-term contract as a Recruitment Specialist before being made permanent and promoted to Recruitment Business Partner just five months later. 

What stands out most about Corin is the people and the culture. It's a supportive, down-to-earth environment where everyone is approachable, encouraged to grow and recognised for what they bring to the business. I'm proud to be part of a company that not only changes lives through its work, but also genuinely cares about its employees. 

Head of Quality Assurance UK

Harriet joined Corin in 2021and is Head of Quality Assurance (UK), leading initiatives to ensure compliance with global medical device regulations while driving continuous improvement across the business. has seen multiple changes to the functioning of the business.
