Privacy Notice on the Use of Additional Processing Activities in the Context of Corin Websites, Including Social Media Icons, Newsletters, Surveys, User Registration and Contact Form

Corin’s websites include icons linking to certain social media platforms. No personal information is transmitted to these platforms merely by viewing our website. When you click on an icon, you will leave our website and activate the relevant platform function (i.e., like, share, etc.). The platform may then collect information about your visit, and any processing of your personal data will be governed by that platform's own privacy notice and terms of use.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our electronic newsletter through our website or by any other means, we will collect and process the personal data provided during registration and retain it until you unsubscribe or the newsletter is discontinued. Subscriptions  use a double opt-in process: after submitting your subscription request, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription to prevent unauthorized use of your email address.

We will store your IP address, subscription date and time, and consent record to protect our legitimate interest in preventing and investigating misuse of our services as well as evidencing your subscription consent.

If you unsubscribe, we will retain your registration data, IP address, registration date and time, and consent for up to three (3) months. This serves our legitimate interest in restoring data in the event of unintentional deletion and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims relating to your newsletter subscription.

Surveys

We conduct online surveys and collect information through questionnaires using the platforms and services of third-party service providers. You may object, at any time, to the use of your personal data for direct marketing, including survey and questionnaire invitations.

Participation is voluntary. Survey responses will be processed to protect our legitimate interests in improving and promoting our products and services, including identifying and offering products or services aligned with your interests, and, where applicable, fulfilling product monitoring obligations.

Event-related questionnaire responses will be processed solely for event organization, management, and participation. If you are a customer, your personal data may be added to our customer database. If no customer relationship exists, the information may be added to our prospective customer database, or otherwise deleted after six (6) months.

User Registration & Contact Form

If you create a user account on our website, we will store the personal data associated with your account until it is deleted. When you register, we will also store your IP address and registration date and time to protect our legitimate interest in preventing and investigating the misuse of our services.

After your account is deleted, we will retain the data for up to six (6) months to restore it in the event of unintentional deletion or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. By creating an account, you agree to this retention period.

Our website contains a contact form that you may use to communicate with us. We will process the personal data you provide through the form to respond to your request.

If you provide personal data through your account or the contact form for another purpose, such as sending us an offer or product information, we will also store and process your data for that purpose.
