About

A chemically tailored calcium phosphate coating3,4 which rapidly resorbs1 to promote and accelerate osseointgeration2, a key to achieving long-term fixation without cement.

Rapid

Rapid

This calcium phosphate (CaP) coating, with a tailored chemical composition of brushite and hydroxyapatite, facilitates full and rapid resorption1 to accelerate and promote osseointegration for long-term implant stability.

The coating has a crystalline structure with good capillarity properties, beneficial to the absorption of these growth factors and adhesion of bone cells3.

Total coverage

Total coverage

An electrolytic deposition process, unlike most conventional ‘line of sight’ processes, produces a fine, uniform layer for total coverage of the exposed surfaces or structures. This maintains substrate roughness4 and provides a large area for osseointegration3.

With over 25 years of clinical history2,3,4 this coating is proven in orthopaedics.

Both Corin implants use this coating to promote and accelerate osteointegration, leading to excellent clinical performance5,6

Trinity PLUS for example, successfully uses this coating to accelerate bone growth and osseointegration7, in scenarios where typically it would be hard to achieve given the poor bone quality.
