OPS™

Optimized Positioning System

Personalizing Hip Replacement

Optimized Positioning System (OPS) is an innovative technology for use in total hip replacement procedures. Utilising a pre-operative functional simulation combined with a unique intra-operative positioning system, OPS helps surgeons optimise component positioning.

Why OPS?

Every patient moves differently, and your total hip replacement should account for this. The OPS imaging process helps identify unique movement in patient's hips. Specifically, the potential movement of the pelvis as the joint goes through range of motion. Evaluating this movement through a series of X-rays allows the surgeon to plan the placement of a hip implant based on the way your hips move.
